Sacred Heart College is the Centre for parish leadership development, adult education, and faith formation in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peterborough. We are currently seeking volunteer leaders to join our dynamic board of trustees. As outlined in the 2023 Diocesan Pastoral Plan, Sacred Heart College will equip parishes for catechetical ministry, outreach and evangelization.
Board of Trustees members are actively involved in organizational governance and are expected to attend bi-monthly board meetings, engage in Strategic Planning for the College, participate in at least one board committee, and support the College at the parish level.
Sacred Heart College is seeking new board members who will help broaden our current board. For this reason, we encourage applications from Catholic candidates with faith development expertise, communications expertise, parish ministry, as well as those interested in evangelization, and who are excited about furthering Catholic faith formation within the Diocese. Candidates interested in board service may submit a letter of interest, outlining why he or she would like to be part of the Board of Trustees, as well as parish involvement, work or educational experience, and skills the applicant believes would be of benefit to the Board of Trustees.
