The Indigenous Reconciliation Fund (IRF) was established to accept donations from 73 Catholic Dioceses across the country, and to advance healing and reconciliation initiatives, fulfilling the $30 million financial commitment made by Canada’s Bishops in September 2021.
The fund is established alongside a promotional video, Sacred Fire Stories, which captures inspiring stories of hope from IRF-funded projects, showcasing the real and meaningful impact the IRF is already having within Indigenous communities.
A report of the work done so far, including local work supported through our Diocese and parish, has also been released.
