Parish BBQ & Potluck Celebration – Everyone is Invited!
Join us on Saturday, May 30th at 12:00pm for a special Parish Barbeque/Potluck as we celebrate three wonderful milestones in the lives of the clergy who faithfully serve our parish family:
• Fr. Craig – 17 Years (May 29, 2009)
• Brother Joseph – 40 Years (May 28, 1986)
• Fr. Peter – 1 Year (May 30, 2025)
God has truly blessed our parish with three devoted priests. They celebrate our joys, walk with us through our struggles, answer late-night calls, offer countless prayers, guidance, and encouragement and somehow always finding time when we say, “Father, just one more thing…This is our chance to give a little of that love back and say “thank you” for all they do.
The Knights of Columbus will be firing up the grill, and we invite everyone to bring a side dish to share. Salads, casseroles, vegetables, chips, fruit, desserts, or your favourite family recipe are all welcome.
The day will also include our Spring Parish Clean-Up. If you’re able to come a little early and lend a hand in the gardens or around the church grounds, we’d be very grateful. If not, no worries—we’d still love to see you at the BBQ!
We’ll finish around 3:00 p.m. so our priests can prepare for Confessions and the 4:30 p.m. Mass.
We know this is short notice, but between Masses, meetings, school visits, hospital calls, and all those “just one more things,” finding a day when all three could be together was no easy task!
Bring a lawn chair, a dish to share, and a grateful heart as we celebrate these men who have dedicated their lives to God and His people. We would love to see the whole parish there. All are welcome! ❤️🙏🍔☀️
