Job Opening: Part Time Receptionist
The Receptionist reports to the Director of Finance, Property and Administration and is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services for the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, its Clergy, Lay Employees, parishes, individual Catholics and the Diocese. Must have an affinity with, and passion for, the overall mission of the Diocese. The Receptionist position is a part-time, hourly position, on site at the Diocesan Pastoral Centre in Peterborough, ON. Weekly hours are either two days from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm or three half days for a maximum of a thirteen (13) hour work week.

New at St. Joseph Church: Compassion Circles
We can all use a little more compassion, including compassion for ourselves. Compassion circles offer a supportive place for woman to experience a time of connection and belonging, to cultivate their compassion together, share how they are doing and receive recognition, kindness and support. Through this sharing, participants increase personal resilience and find energy to engage more effectively among families, friends and community.
Women of our parish are invited to join the Compassion Circle at St. Joseph Church beginning on Thursday, September 26th and continuing on the fourth Thursday of each month (except December). Compassion circles gather at 10am in the Columbus Hall. There is no fee or obligation.

Children will happily learn that Mother Teresa was a person whose strong faith and trust in God helped her to make incredible changes in our world.

Job Opening: Stewardship and Development Coordinator
The Stewardship and Development Coordinator provides resources to the Bishop, parishes, individual Catholics and the Diocese. The successful candidate will report to the Bishop of Peterborough and will work closely with Clergy, Lay Staff, Councils, and Committees of the Diocese to develop, execute and support programs. Must have an affinity with, and passion for, the overall mission of the Diocese. The Stewardship and Development Coordinator position is a full time, salaried position, on site at the Chancery office in Peterborough.
