This fall, we’re asking, Is Canada on Track for Justice?

At a time when the world is beset by multiple crises, this 2026 FALL campaign will encourage Canadians to join Development and Peace — Caritas Canada in pressing the Government of Canada to increase official development assistance funding as an expression of international solidarity.
How can we build a more just world when many wealthy countries are cutting back on official developmental assistance?

The most vulnerable populations in the Global South bear the brunt of these cuts while also having to cope with escalating conflicts, climate change and the exploitation of their resources. This exacerbates injustices, inequalities and instability in the Global South, which ends up affecting the Global North, too.
