St. Joseph Church

Always striving to meet the needs of families and our youngest members, St. Joseph Church offers several opportunities for children and youth to get involved, make friends and deepen their faith.

Children’s Liturgy

During the school year, children still too young to prepare for their First Communion, typically those not yet in grade 2, are invited during the 11am Mass on Sunday mornings to participate in the Children’s Liturgy. At the start of Mass, the celebrant will invite children to the front of the church for a blessing before they are led to the main church hall by leaders. In the hall, children will listen to God’s Word as children before returning to their families in the main church at the Preparation of the Gifts, the collection. Parents of participating children are always welcome to check out the Children’s Liturgy too and even offer to give a hand!
