Happy Long Weekend!
Happy Long Weekend!
Victoria Day has been celebrated in Canada since the time of Queen Victoria, whose reign helped shape Canada’s early history, growth, and Confederation. Her leadership left a lasting mark on our nation and this holiday remains a Canadian tradition celebrating the Sovereign’s birthday and the blessings of community and family.
As we enjoy this holiday weekend, may we take time to rest, reflect, and thank God for His many blessings. Please note that Mass on Monday morning will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.
Wishing all our parishioners a safe, peaceful, and blessed Victoria Day weekend.
With prayers and blessings,
Fr. Craig, Fr. Peter, Br. Joseph, Cindy, Jacqui & Hailu

Prepare for the Feast of the Body and Blood of Jesus
Prepare for the Feast of the Body and Blood of Jesus
Next at Waymark: Presence
Although the Eucharist appears to be simple bread and wine, it is actually the “source and summit” of the Christian life. Presence explores the truth and beauty of Christ’s real presence in the Eucharist, from its origins in Sacred Scripture, to its profound role in the life of disciples.
Watch the trailer
Living the faith, growing as disciples and aiming to become the saints God has made us to be is a challenging task. Thankfully, God gives waymarks to help guide the way. Through open discussion, affirmation, prayer and faith exploration, Waymark participants take a moment to deliberately seek out God’s waymarks as they navigate the journey of life.
Connect and share faith with others at Waymark on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm in the Lower Columbus Hall.

Helping Our Neighbours in Need
Helping Our Neighbours in Need
The Saint Vincent de Paul Food Bank is currently in need of body wash, bar soap, and reusable grocery bags.
These simple everyday items can make a big difference for individuals and families in our community who may be facing difficult times. Your kindness and generosity are a beautiful way of living out Christ’s call to love and serve one another.
If you are able, please consider donating one or more of these items and placing them in the SVDP bin at the entrance of our Church. Thank you for helping us bring comfort, dignity, and hope to our neighbours in need.

Monthly Prayer for Mental Health
Monthly Prayer for Mental Health
For the Month of May….the Pope’s prayer intention is that everyone might have food.”
When we lack food our physical and mental health suffer. A child that goes to bed hungry wakes up anxious and depressed. Hunger erodes a person’s sense of safety and dignity.
Pope Leo XIV has said,“The hungry faces of so many who still suffer challenge us and invite us to reexamine our lifestyles, our priorities and our overall way of living in today’s world”. He says instead, “We must make their suffering our own.”
Let us pray that everyone be committed to ensuring that people everywhere have access to quality food that nourishes their body, mind, and spiritTo learn more about the Monthly Day of Prayer for Mental Health, visit our website, download the Click to Pray app in your preferred app store, or visit the Click to Pray website.
